The Online Estate Sale Process

Like a traditional estate sale, we will go through a photo shoot of all items to be sold and begin the marketing process 2-3 weeks ahead of the online estate sale. In addition to taking photos, we will also be taking measurements, dimensions and weight of items. Also like a traditional estate sale, the length of an online estate sale is a three-day period with most beginning on Friday and ending on Sunday. Pickup days for buyers are scheduled for Monday and/or Tuesday following the sale.


For online sales many items are grouped in a lot to sell as many items as possible and to eliminate small transactions. For example, if you have six different Atlanta Braves shirts, we would list them as a bundle instead of individually.


When a buyer is interested in a particular item, they simply add it to their cart and check out. Items are paid for in full at the time of the checkout. The buyer will choose if they want the purchased item(s) shipped to them or held for local pick-up. If an item is available to ship, the cost of shipping is calculated in the total and paid for by the buyer. This applies to smaller items that can be shipped. Local pick-up is required for larger items such as appliances and furniture. Customer pick-up days are the Monday and/or Tuesday following the sale. Our team will be on-site to assist buyers with their purchases. You will not need to do anything.
